Fundación CajaSur ofrece cinco becas a estudiantes del Máster universitario en Finanzas y Banca de la UPO

Becas Master Finanzas y Banca UPOSevilla, 22 de abril 2016.-  La Fundación Cajasur pondrá en marcha junto a la Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla el Programa de Becas de Prácticas en Empresas destinado a estudiantes del Máster universitario en Finanzas y Banca de esta universidad pública sevillana, como complemento a la formación teórica de los universitarios, con el fin de facilitar su inserción en el mercado laboral. El rector de la UPO, Vicente C. Guzmán Fluja, y el director territorial de Andalucía occidental de Cajasur Banco, Artemio del Corral Martín, han suscrito hoy viernes un convenio para la puesta en marcha de estas becas de prácticas en empresas.


Estas prácticas académicas extracurriculares en empresas llevarán aparejadas una beca que será dotada por la Fundación CajaSur. El programa consta de 5 becas de 6 meses de duración, y permitirá a los estudiantes aplicar y complementar los conocimientos adquiridos en su formación académica, favoreciendo la adquisición de competencias que les preparen para el ejercicio de sus actividades profesionales, faciliten su empleabilidad y fomenten su capacidad de emprendimiento. El importe total que la Fundación Cajasur destina para la realización de este programa en la UPO asciende a 9.000 euros.


Este convenio específico de cooperación académica se integra dentro un marco más general, promovido desde la Delegación de Estrategia, Prospectiva y Emprendimiento de la UPO, con el que se pretende iniciar una alianza estratégica a medio y largo plazo con Cajasur Banco. En particular, la entidad financiera ha diseñado una oferta de servicios financieros dirigidos a la comunidad universitaria, así como otras colaboraciones en materia de empleabilidad y emprendimiento que se materializarán en breve.


Tanto el rector de la UPO, Vicente C. Guzmán Fluja, como el director territorial de Andalucía occidental de Cajasur Banco, Artemio del Corral Martín, han coincidido en destacar, en el acto de firma del convenio entre Cajasur y la UPO que ha tenido lugar esta mañana en la Olavide, que se trata de un ambicioso proyecto a tres bandas entre Cajasur Banco, su Fundación y la UPO, las cuales “se unen hoy para poner al servicio de la sociedad todos los recursos e instrumentos disponibles para construir un mundo más igualitario y más justo desde nuestro compromiso social”.
