Cajasur colabora con Fundación Don Bosco en una Escuela Ocupacional. 

Firma-Convenio-Don-Bosco-2018Córdoba, 6 febrero de 2018.- El Patronato de la Fundación Cajasur continúa apoyando a asociaciones y fundaciones andaluzas de índole social y cultural. En esta ocasión,   ha aprobado la colaboración económica para la puesta en marcha de una Escuela Ocupacional de Competencias y Habilidades básicas con la Fundación Proyecto Don Bosco de la congregación salesiana en Sevilla.

El citado proyecto es de carácter socioeducativo que atenderá a 15 menores (8 chicas y 7 chicos) de 16 a 18 años en situación de riesgo o exclusión social. La iniciativa se desarrollará  en la sede con la que cuenta la Fundación religiosa en el Polígono Sur de la capital hispalense.

El programa desarrollará intervenciones individuales y grupales con los menores y padres. Con los jóvenes se llevará a cabo un entrenamiento en competencias que favorezcan el crecimiento personal y las competencias sociales y cívicas, un entrenamiento en competencias claves y transversales, y un entrenamiento en habilidades básicas a través de talleres de la rama de electricidad.

El Polígono Sur destaca por una importante vulnerabilidad de la población en materia de empleo, es decir, las tasas de desempleo que se registran en términos generales es uno de los factores principales que explican el grado de precariedad en los recursos  de esta población, cuestión que se vincula con el tiempo a otros factores de exclusión y que termina generando el proceso de marginación social en el que se vive en esta zona de la ciudad.

En poblaciones juveniles, la falta de acceso al mercado laboral bien predeterminada por el abandono temprano en la formación, que impide alcanzar una adecuada capacitación laboral y las habilidades necesarias para acceder a un puesto de trabajo.

El citado convenio de colaboración ha sido firmado en la sede central de la entidad financiera entre el director general de la Fundación Don Bosco, Ignacio Vázquez de la Torre, y el director de la Fundación Cajasur, Ángel Cañadilla, acompañado por el jefe de Programa de Ayudas e Innovación Social de la Fundación Cajasur, Juan Miguel Luque.
